She Told Us!

Mary told us she had to go potty this morning! Up until now we have just seen the signs and put her on the potty ourselves. This morning we were in the play room and she took her diaper off.

Me: "Mary, do you need to go potty?"
Mary: "Uh huh"

She then took off for the potty. I sat her on it and she went #2! When she was finished she let me put on a pull-up to show her that's what girls do when they go potty. She has been wearing them for about a week now. The funny thing is that she hasn't urinated in the potty yet. I was under the impression that that was the easy part of potty training. She has the other stuff down. Now we just need to work on the first part.
