3 Conversations
It seems like I giggle everyday at the things that come out of Ty's mouth. These are examples of conversations that I've had with him lately...
I was playing in the playroom with Tyrus and Mary...
Me: "Ty, will you give Sissy that toy please?"
Ty: "Sissy?"
Me: "Yeah, Mary."
Ty: "You call her Sissy?"
Me: "Yeah, you can because she is your sister. It's a nickname."
Ty: "Oh"
Ty thought for a minute and then he looked up and asked...
Ty: "Can I call her Poo Poo?"
Me: "No, you cannot call your sister Poo Poo."
My sister just drove to Florida, by herself and the two kids, to see my parents. Jeff was going on a trip and she didn't want to stay home alone. Anyways, I was talking to her while she was driving...
Ty: "Who you talking to Mama?"
Me: "Aunt Shanna."
Ty: "Lucas's Mama?"
Me: "Yep"
Ty: "What she doing?"
Me: "She's driving."
Ty: "Where she going?"
I didn't want to tell him that Lucas was going to Grandpa and Grandma's house...
Me: "She's driving to Florida."
With a very sad look on his face...
Ty: "To Grandpa and Grandma's house?"
Me: "Yeah baby, they're going to Grandpa and Grandma's house."
Ty: "But, that's my Grandpa!"
And Finally, today I went to the movies with my girlfriends. We saw Dear John. It's the latest movie based on a book by Nicholas Sparks. I read the book when I was pregnant with Mary and the movie was great. There were 8 of us there and we all cried. When we left we decided to read The Last Song and all go see that movie together. I went and bought the book this afternoon and am already 130 pages into it.
This afternoon I was reading and Tyrus was curled into my side watching cartoons...
Ty: "Mama, what you reading?"
Me: "I'm reading a Mama book."
Ty: "A Mama book?"
Me: "Yeah, that means that only Mamas like it."
Ty: "Oh, can I read it?"
I flipped the book around so that he could see the pages...
Ty: "Where are the pictures?"
Me: "This book doesn't have pictures. They're in my head."
Ty: "Did you eat them?"
:)
