Every year our tradition is to buy a Christmas ornament that somehow symbolizes our year. Last year it was a pink "Baby's 1st Christmas". This year, obviously, it is about our new house. After we came home with the tree and the babies took naps we headed back out to Macy's to find the perfect ornament. My vision was to find an ornament that had a pretty brick house on it. We had no such luck. We did however find this one...
Now, it isn't a brick house, but when I saw it it reminded me of something in our new house...
Don't they look alike? I was too excited about it! When we got home from Macy's we started unpacking our ornaments from years past. This is my favorite part of decorating the tree because these ornaments mean sooooooo much to me. They were all picked with so much care. I can't wait to continue this tradition in the years to come!
