Seriously?
Where have the last five months gone? Our sweet Mary Lauren is 5 months old today! I remember every detail of the day she was born like it was yesterday. The other night I looked back on the blog and all the pictures of our first few days with her. The first thing I noticed was how tiny she was. You really felt like she could break if you didn't handle her just right. Now, she is very big and very "sturdy". She is even starting to sit like a little frog and we suspect will be sitting on her own very shortly. The second thing I noticed was her skinny little legs. Now, her legs are very very chubby and I love every single fat roll! As a matter of fact, tonight I was squeezing her fat rolls and getting some pretty adorable giggles in response.
Here are some random facts about our Mary:
She loves her Jumperoo and would stay in it all day if we let her (just like Tyrus)
She loves Baby Einstein
She doesn't like Carrots
She loves Rice cereal mixed with apple sauce
She is a rolling over champ (still just to her left)
She likes to be in bed by 7:00 at the latest and will let you know if it is past her bedtime.
She is starting to make very cute little noises with her lips (smacking)
She still has gorgeous blue eyes
She gives the biggest smiles to her Dada
She doesn't like her swing anymore
She usually wakes up between 7:00 and 7:30 (12 hours)
She is very calm and chill. If she is comfortable she will just sit and look around.
She eats 5 bottles a day
She doesn't have teeth yet, but is constantly chewing on her hands
She seems to be a morning person
She makes perfect eye contact with people when they are speaking to her
She answers to the name "Squishy" (my nickname for her)
She looks good in any color that we put on her, but our favorites are pink, purple, and red.
She is very observant and intelligent

Very simply, she is the coolest little lady in the world and we can't believe that she has been around for five months already. I'll try to get some 5 month pictures of her this weekend and post them.
