Picture This...
At 4:00 am I heard Miss Mary starting to move around on the monitor. She went down at 10:00 pm so I knew that it was about time for her bottle. So, I got up, stretched, and prepared myself to make a bottle and be up for about 30 minutes. I made the bottle and walked into Mary's room. To my surprise there was my little daughter snoring in her bed! So, its 4:00 in the morning and there I am standing in the dark with a bottle in my hand, my hair a mess, and looking down into a crib with a sleeping baby. Hmmmm? Did I actually hear her or was I dreaming? I know I heard her - I saw her on the video monitor and she was definitely awake. Oh well, I just put the bottle in the fridge and thought I would get back in bed and she would probably be awake in 15 minutes. 2 hours later I hear her waking up. I get up, stretch, and prepare myself once again to be up for about 30 minutes. I go to the kitchen and warm the bottle and walk to Mary's room and that is where I experience Deja Vu. There in the crib is my snoring daughter and there I am, once again, standing in the dark with a bottle in my hand, my hair all a mess, and wondering if I am going crazy. What the heck is going on? First of all, I know I heard and saw her awake and secondly, she has never slept this long. So, I go to bed and wait for her to wake up. FINALLY at 7:00 Miss Mary is awake and she is REALLY awake. No wonder considering she slept from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am - the girl was hungry! I, on the other hand, had really been up since 4:00 wondering if I was going crazy and watching the monitor scared that if I fell asleep she would wake up. I really hope that this is Mary's new sleep schedule, but I don't think I'll get that lucky with both my babies. We had an extremely busy day yesterday and I think she was just worn out. We'll see!
