2 Months Old!
I'm a terrible mother - I forgot to take a picture of Mary Lauren on her two month birthday!! In fact, I didn't even realize it was the day until Shanna called to wish her happy 2 months. First of all, where in the world have the last 2 months gone? I go back to work in 14 days and that just blows my mind.

Our sweet baby girl changes all the time. I actually had to take her to the doctor because she has a rash and she weighs 14 pounds! I remember right before I went back to work with Tyrus that he weighed 16 pounds. I guess the Neil and I are just destined to have gigantic babies. I really wouldn't have it any other way because I love their little fat rolls and I tell them that all the time. Mary Lauren LOVES it when we put her on her back on the floor and talk to her. She is really starting to talk. Sometimes she wants to talk so bad that her little face turns red. Every now and then she will let out a little laugh and it so surprises her that her eyes get really big like she is thinking, "what was that noise?". You can get a sweet smile from Mary Lauren about 95% of the time and you can't help but smile right back because she has two little dimples that melt your heart. Sleeping is getting better. The last two nights she has slept for 7 1/2 hours which usually means she wakes up around 3:00 am and then she goes back to sleep and will wake up around 6:30 or 7:00. That schedule will definitely work when I go back to work. We cross our fingers every night that she will keep it up. Mary is only eating formula these days. Yes, I stopped breastfeeding after I got sick. I'm not sure why I can't breastfeed. I had a hard time with Ty too. It was really disappointing this time though. My goal was to breast feed her for several months, but I only made it six weeks. Formula is much easier though because Neil can help and he really enjoys feeding her. My milk dried up really easily. It wasn't a problem at all and I never got engorged. I think it was meant to be after I got so sick and my body just did all the work. So, Mary eats between 4 and 5 ounces every 3 hours during the day and that schedule is working nicely.

Tyrus is still the best big brother ever! He adores little Mary and continues to call her "Baby" and "Sissy". When he does say her name it sounds like "Mawy". He loves to kiss her and pat her little face and hold the bottle when we are feeding her. He also loves that she is the baby and he is Tyrus. We haven't had any other incidents where he wanted to be the baby. I guess he got his fix with that bottle that I gave him.

So, that is the Mary update. Now we are trying to decide what to get a 2 month old for Christmas. I don't think she would really appreciate diapers or formula so we'll probably get her some type of toy where she can lay on her back and play.

I can't believe how fast she is going also!! I can't believe that Aden will be a year old next month. I heard that the weather is suppose to be real pretty Wednesday. Do you want to meet at the park around 10:00? Let me know.
