My New CD!
Ty and I rocked out all day yesterday to my new Garth Brooks CD. It has all the great songs that I remember from growing up. It made me think of a time when Mama and Daddy took the three of us to Gatlinburg in Mama's white cadillac. It was so long ago that we were listening to cassette tapes. Anyways, we had a cassette tape of Garth Brooks and we listened to it the ENTIRE week. I think that it was the time that "Friends In Low Places" was popular because I also remember all of us singing that as we were walking down the street shopping. It had to be around 1990 or 1991. That means that I was either 10 or 11, Bryan was 7 or 8, and Shanna was 13 or 14. SO long ago, but I still remember it like it was yesterday. I think that is why I love my CD so much!

When I hear an old Garth Brooks song I think the SAME thing! I also think about how we had to talk Mama and Daddy into taking us to that Rock-n-Roll diner - it was SUCH a big treat.
