A Conversation

Last night as I was driving home from picking up the kids Tyrus started asking me questions about Mary's birthday. He cannot wait until her party and he is always wondering if today will be the day that we go to her party. Anyways, last night he started wondering if Grandpa and Grandma would be there and I told him no because they were coming up a few days after to help us move into our new house. So, I go the bright idea to have Ty call my parents and try to convince them to come up a little early. This is how it went:

Ty: "Hey Ganpaw!"
Grandpa: "Tyrus! What are you doing big boy?"
Ty: "You come to Mary's birthday party Gampaw?"

I couldn't actually here my Dad's response, but I heard Ty's:

Ty: "Ugggghhhhh! You have to! There be cake there! Bring Missy, Roo Roo, and Gammaw and get in the car."

In my parents defense, I wanted Ty to make them feel bad because I want them to be there, but I ABSOLUTELY understand because they are coming up a few days after that and we're putting them to work helping us move! Yay!!
