Hide Your Doughnuts

This is a lesson that Tyrus learned the hard way last night. We had just arrived home from our busy day and Tyrus noticed a box of doughnuts on the kitchen counter. Neil had bought them. He reached in, grabbed a doughnut, and took off around the corner to play. He is playing in the den with all 753 hot wheels that he owns sitting on our coffee table. He was totally minding his own business and in the midst of his playing put his doughnut down on the coffee table. At this time I was in the bedroom changing. All of a sudden I hear Tyrus scream, "Nooooooooo!" and then begin to cry. When I get to the den to see what in the world had happened I see Tyrus lying on the floor hiding his face and crying and Mary standing at the coffee table shoving doughnut in her mouth with one hand and waving the remainder of the doughnut around in the air. All the while laughing and smiling. She was so happy that her brother had not hid his doughnut.
