Such A Boy

This story is hilarious and every time I picture it again in my head I giggle at my silly little boy. His sense of humor is just like his Daddy's (sigh)!

On Saturday I was home with the kids and I was determined to clean the house even with them there and awake. So, they were following me around from room to room. We were downstairs in the kitchen and I was sweeping and vacuuming various rooms. Mary was just walking around and Tyrus was sitting at the kitchen table eating a snack. I thought that he was totally engrossed in a cartoon, but apparently he was paying more attention then I thought.

I went to plug in the vacuum cleaner and I had forgotten to turn it off the last time I unplugged it. So, when I plugged it in it immediately came on. Mary had walked over to it and was playing with the handles on it when it. When it came on so suddenly it scared her and she ran off. I immediately said, "Oh sorry Bear" and jumped to turn it off. She was fine, but just a little shaken up. Tyrus seemed so concern with why his baby sister was scared.

Ty: "What happened to Bear Mama?"

Me: "Oh nothing Baby. She was standing next to the vacuum cleaner when it came on and it scared her."

Without skipping a beat and totally unprovoked...

Ty: "Did it sound like this...?"

He then let one rip! Not just a baby fart, but this very loud and long passing of gas. It was so loud that it surprised me that it could come out of his body! I was walking across the kitchen when he did this and I just stopped in my tracks and looked at him with my mouth open. He was still sitting at the table, but he was smiling at me and giggling and I couldn't help but giggle with him.

Tyrus is constantly saying and doing little things that just crack us up! The funny thing is that he knows he's funny and silly and that just makes it that much more funny.

He absolutely has his Daddy's sense of humor.
