Second #2

Mary went poo poo in the potty again!! This time it was for Neil. It was late in the day and I was washing dishes after dinner. Neil and the kids were just playing. I guess Mary started acting like she had to go because I heard Neil ask her if she wanted to go potty. Mary nodded her head and took off for the bathroom. I told Neil that she had already gone that day so I didn't expect her to go again. However, I was wrong! It took her about 20 seconds to get it out. We were all very excited for her. She got to flush the potty (with help from Bubba) and we got a very cute picture of her standing next to it. My camera wouldn't download the picture thought (grrrr). I'll post it later. We couldn't have been more proud of her until...
She went poo poo in the potty again on Sunday!! Yep, she sure did! This time it was just me at home with the kids. We were all in the kitchen. It was late in the day again. She has this internal clock because it is always the same time of day. She started showing signs of having to go. I asked her if she had to go and she nodded her head and ran to the potty. Once again, as soon as I put her on the potty it was out. We cheered, clapped, and did the potty dance. She is so proud of herself!! When we walked out of the bathroom she saw my phone and brought it to me. That could only mean that she wanted to call Dada and tell him the news. I put Neil on speaker phone and we told him. When Mary heard how excited he was she just smiled and nodded her head.

So, we're hoping that she will be potty trained early. We are not pushing her at all. When she shows signs we ask and if she wants to use the potty she does. I think in a few weeks we'll start putting her on the potty on a schedule so she'll get used to it. The thought of no more diapers makes me sooooooo happy!!
