Yard Work

Neil knew when we bought our new house that there was going to be A LOT of yard work that needed done almost immediately. That's o.k. because he LOVES doing it. He was out there for several hours yesterday and every time I went out there to check on him he said that this is the most relaxing thing he can do and he was really enjoying it. He was also enjoying his little 3 year old helper that raked and dug holes.

Anyways, today he went back out to do some more. He was taking everything that he cut down yesterday and, using a tarp, dragging it to the back yard. Our plan is to rent a chipper and use it as mulch in the backyard. So, he piled everything on the tarp, tied the tarp around his waist, and then pulled the tarp around the house to the backyard. He did this SEVERAL times. Eventually, Ty decided that it would be fun to sit on the tarp once they had dumped everything and ride it back around to the front yard. Poor Neil, if he thought it was going to be easier pulling the tarp back to the front - he was wrong. Especially when Miss Mary woke up from her nap...




Tyrus was getting a little carried away when we told him to hold on tight to Mary...
