The "Why?" Phase...
Ty has successfully entered the "why?" phase of his childhood. Everything that happens in his little world he wants to know why it happened. For example, today we were driving home and we passed a construction site that had obviously been shut down.
Ty: "Where the bulldozers go?"
Me: "Well, they stopped working and went home."
Ty: "Why?"
Me: "because they ran out of money."
Ty: "Why?"
Me: "because they spent it too fast."
Ty: "Why?"
Me: "because they weren't smart about spending their money."
Ty: "Why?"
Me: "because they didn't know what they were doing."
Ty: "Why?"

Get the picture? I think its kinda cute and I am always willing to give him an answer if he wants to know something. Sometime I don't' really know the answer though and I have to just talk. That seems to satisfy him. Oh, by the way, I wish you could hear him say "why?". It is the sweetest little "why?" you have ever heard. :)
