This is your wake up call...
When Neil and I took Ty out of his crib and started putting him a "Big Boy Bed" we absolutely had no problem. He never took advantage of his new freedom and got up in the middle of the night or even when he woke up in the morning. He would patiently stay in bed until Neil or I went in to get him. Well, lately things have started changing. It started a couple of weeks ago and, at first, he would just get up in the morning when he heard us up and moving around. We thought this was great because the thought of him just staying in there even though he knew we were up always made me sad. I always told him, "If you hear Mama or Dada up then you can get up." Last night Neil and I were in bed watching television when Tyrus walked into our room. We had put him to bed about 20 minutes before. When he walked in he said, "I woke up Mama!" I grabbed him and put him in the bed with us and told him that we could cuddle for 5 minutes and then he had to go back to bed. When Neil and I put him back down he didn't get up again...until...5:00 a.m. this morning when I heard him push the door open and walk in. He was lucky that Lu Lu didn't attack him. I didn't mind that he got up because I wake up at 5:30 anyways. He told me he was hungry and that he wanted CoCo Puffs. So, I made him a bowl and we just hung out for a little while before I had to start getting ready. If he keeps this up I will never have to set my alarm again!

Okay, I must say, finally Tyrus is acting like a normal toddler! He's been too perfect so far : )
