Tyrus, Tyrus, Tyrus...
Our sweet little angel is really starting to work Neil and I. Our very good friend, Lee, lost his grandmother this week. We were planning on going to the funeral home on Friday night. So, I asked Andria to tell Tyrus to be a good boy and to use his "inside voice". Anyways, when I got to her house she informed me that Tyrus said that if he was a good boy that he would get a new track. I agreed to that because I really wanted him to be good. He was PERFECT at the funeral home. He was very well behaved and didn't act crazy. So, we bought him a new firetruck thing. Anyways, on Saturday he got in trouble when he headbutted Neil. Neil took the firetruck think away and told him that he would get it back on Sunday. Later that day I was taking a nap and when I opened my eyes Tyrus was standing right next to my face waiting for me to wake up. When he saw me awake he smiled really big and climbed up into the bed with me and started to cuddle. It was a very sweet moment with my baby until he said, "Mama, you get my firetruck down?" Little Stinker!! He thought that if Neil wouldn't get his toy down that maybe Mama would. Nope!! Neil and I are a team and we agree with each others punishments. It was still really cute though.
I took Tyrus to get a haircut today and then grocery shopping. When we went into Greatclips I told him that if he was a good boy that I would get him a treat at the grocery store. He was a little angel while he was getting his hair cut so when we got to Publix I bought him a cookie. When he finished his cookie this was our conversation...
Ty: "I get a treat Mama?"
Me: "Well, that cookie was your treat."
Ty: "No, Mama, it a cookie."
