Okay, I lied, my last post wasn't my "last post" before the hospital. Neil and I decided that today, Saturday, was going to be all about Tyrus. We planned on doing all of his favorite things. I screwed up this morning, first thing, and told him that we were going to the Choo Choo Park and he got so excited he wouldn't eat breakfast. So, after I lost that battle we decided to just take a snack and hit the road because the weather was so perfect. Our first stop was the Choo Choo Park. It has been on the blog several times before and Tyrus LOVES it! He had so much fun and we were there for about two hours. Our second stop was Lowes so that Ty could see the Lawnmowers (little weirdo). He would stay at Lowes or Home Depot all day and just sit on the lawnmowers. He even knows the route that we take to get there and starts screaming "lawnmower, lawnmower" before he can even see the store. Our third stop was a lunch break at Chick-Fil-A where Ty ate french fries, fruit, and got to play on the playground. He even got a "big boy drink" which is a sprite in a regular cup. The small things make him extremely happy. After we finished lunch we headed to Noah's Ark. We haven't been there in so long because it has been very hot. Today, the weather was great. There was a constant breeze and the animals were up walking around. We stayed there for about and hour and a half and then it was perfect time for Ty's nap. All the way home he was saying, "no nap, no nap, play". But, you could look in his eyes and see how tired he was. When we got home he immediately went to sleep in his bed. When he wakes up Mom is coming down to hang out and we are going to cook spaghetti. YUM!! Tomorrow will be my finalization day. I plan on spending a lot of time in the nursery finishing things up and cleaning the house. I thought I was past the nervous thing, but I know that tomorrow all I'll be thinking about is my surgery and meeting my daughter. That is why we wanted to make today all about Tyrus Benjamin - our baby boy.
I hope that this will be my last post before the hospital, but, you know me, if I take a cute picture I immediately have to run upstairs and blog it - I can't help it!

I'm glad you had a great day Jenn! I can't believe that we'll have a new little baby (maybe two) in the family in only a day or so. Make sure you rest tomorrow... it may be the last time you get to for a while : )
Love,
Shan
