"What are you calling her?"
I get asked this question all the time. Whenever I tell someone Mary Lauren's name they always ask if we are calling her Mary or if we are calling her Mary Lauren. The truth is that we call her both and we also have little nicknames for her. Here is a list of names:
Mary, Mary Lauren, Miss Mary, Rooter Pooter (Neil's nickname), Honey Bear (one of my names), Baby (Ty's name), Cupcake (Neil's nickname).
Neil's brother, Peyton, says that he is going to call her Junior because she is named after their mother. The other day when Neil and I took her to the doctor they came into the waiting room and asked for Mary Tingle and Neil immediately looked up looking for his mother. Ha Ha.
I love Mary Lauren's name and I also love that we can change it up a little bit. Anyone can just call her what feels right to them.
