It Would Be So Easy!!
It would be so easy to just quit this whole breastfeeding thing and just switch to formula, but I am determined. I have been feeding Mary 95% of the time directly from the breast. However, yesterday Neil and I decided to supplement for one night so that I could pump and see how much I was getting. We were trying to figure out if my milk came in. Anyways, last night was so pleasant. I stayed up with the little angel until 1:30 and then Neil got up with her and I was able to sleep until 7:30 except to wake up to pump. I only pumped a little over 2 oz. all night. Mary was such a sweet little content baby all night. She ate and slept. When I woke up refreshed this morning it crossed my mind how easy it would be. BUT, I'm not going to do it. I have set this goal for myself and I am determined. PLUS, I'm pretty sure that my milk has come in - HALLELUJAH!!!! Today, I have been feeding her directly from the breast and she is burping and sleeping well AND she had a mustard seed dirty diaper!! I never thought that would excite me as much as it does, but whatever.
