Well, he made it home for a couple of weeks. He has been in Afghanistan since March! That means he has been away from his baby girl and his wife, Tanya, for 9 months! I cannot imagine having to go that long without seeing Ty or Neil. I am so thankful for everything that he and all of our troops are doing for us over there.
Tanya, R.T., Emily, Neil, Tyrus, Me, Brandi, Kelley, Lily, and John all met up tonight for dinner. It is really cool to see the babies interacting now. Especially, Tyrus and Emily. They are only one month apart. Tanya and I are constantly comparing what they are doing. Of course, Emily is a girl so she does tons of really cool things. Tanya and I have decided that they will get married in 25 years. I mean, they are one month apart, both blonde hair, and both blue eyes! PERFECT!
R.T. leaves next Thursday for Afghanistan. Please. Please. Please. Everyone pray for his safe return. He will be back around the end of August or the early part of September.
