"I Sit"
Ty has been doing this for the last couple of weeks...
As you know, Neil bought Ty a small table and chairs and it is currently in our living room. Ty loves to sit at his table and watch T.V. and eat a snack. If we are in the kitchen and we ask Ty if he wants a snack he will run into the living room and when he gets to his table he will say, "I sit, I sit".
Ty has also started asking to see certain things. Especially if he cannot reach it. If we are holding him and he sees something that he wants he will point to it and say, "I see, I see".
Tanya said that Emily did this exact thing right before she started speaking in sentences - keep in mind that Emily is one month younger than Tyrus!
This has been one of the coolest things about having Tyrus around. He is really starting to communicate with us. He may not be able to "say" eveything, but he definately knows what a lot of things mean. For example, when we are getting ready to leave a room I will say, "Tyrus turn off the T.V. and we will go downstairs", he will always run to the T.V. turn it off and run to the door to leave the room. Also, I can ask him to throw anything away. Even if we are in his room he will walk through the house to throw it away in the kitchen. It is the same way when we ask him to, "close the door".
Tyrus, you amaze me everyday. Sometimes I wonder - "who in the world taught him that"? I Love. Love. Love. you more and more everyday.
