So, you don't have to tell me that I am really slack with this blog. I really do try to keep up with it, but it is so hard to find time. Right now I'm upstairs and Neil and Ty are downstairs playing. I really should go downstairs and play with my boys, but I really want to keep this thing up so that one day Ty can look back at it and laugh. Ty and I went to Raleigh last week. It was the first time that I took him on a plane. I say "I" because my adorable husband is terrified of planes. I have made several jokes at his expense revolving around the subject of the fear of flying. When I joke with him he looks at me and very seriously says, "Jenn, it would be like you flying across the United States on the back of a spider." Well put Neil.
Anyways, a very brief description of our trip is that it was so much FUN!!!! It made me realize just how much I love and miss my sister. A co-worker of mine just told me that two of her sisters are moving in with her and I was jealous thinking about how much fun they were going to have. Shan and I spent our days at the park and at coffee shops. In between those trips we were at their beautiful house letting the boys nap (they had completely different nap times). I think my favorite part of our days spent in Raleigh were the last hour of everyday before we put the boys to bed. We would all go upstairs and bathe the boys and then they would play in their diapers. Jeff, Shanna, and I would sit around the room and the boys would run and play around us. It was really cool because Ty had just started walking. He would walk from Jeff to Shanna and then to me and we would all cheer for him. He was so proud of himself. We also had to cheer at the fact that Lucas was walking (even though he had been walking for4 months)!
I hope that Lucas and Ty are really good friends one day. I know that Shanna and I didn't have cousins growing up and I think in a way we always wished that we had. When I go over to Neil's parents house their are 14 cousins running around and I absolutely love it. Now, there will always be the issue of which college team is having the better season, but I hope that our boys will be mature enough to look past that. I hope that they can take advantage of being so close in age, that they can learn from each other and lean on each other. I hope that they don't have too many conversations about their crazy Mamas and I hope that their friendship will last their entire lives.

That made me smile. I love you Jenn!

Jenn: Peyton was looking from across the room and said, "those are our babies???" I actually thought he said, "those aren't our butts are they?" We are always saying that the easiest way to tell the twins apart is in when they are running around naked. Completely different bottoms....
