Emily Rae Harris had her first birthday on July 14th. We all got together for her birthday on July 15th. Tanya did such a great job on throwing a birthday party. She had it at a beautiful park in Gwinnet County. Emily's daddy is in Afghanistan right now and he will not be back for more than a year. He was so upset to miss her first birthday. However, he recorded a little message for her and told her how much he loved her and then sang her happy birthday. It was so sweet because when Tanya pressed "play" on the computer and R.T. started saying "Em, Em" Emily stopped what she was doing and looked at the screen. She definately has not forgotten her daddy's voice. Needless to say - there were A LOT of tears. Happy Birthday Emily Rae! We love you!
