On Sunday night I was in the recliner working my magic on getting Mary to sleep. Neil was trying to keep the house quite so he took Tyrus into the bedroom to watch Cops. I know, I know! But, he loves it! Its his favorite show and he doesn't make a peep when he is watching it. Anyways, I attempted to put Mary down once and it didn't work. She was very much asleep on my chest and the second she hit the mattress in her crib she popped up. She is such a stinker because the second that I sit back down in the recliner she is out again. I act like this is a burden, but I secretly LOVE holding my little baby girl every night and getting her to sleep. She is only this little for so long and I want to love her as much as I can before she grows up and can do everything on her own.
So, attempt number two went smoothly and Mary was asleep - one down...one to go. When I turned to walk out of Mary's room Neil was standing there giving me the thumbs up and a high five. Then he said, "guess who else is down?" Tyrus? I was shocked. Neil said that they got on the bed. Tyrus told Neil which side of the bed was his and what pillow was his. Neil said he said two words, rolled over, and that was the last sound he heard from him - he was out!! We got this sweet picture of the sleeping beauty before we put him in his own bed...
We love you Tyrus!

so cute!
too cute! that one definitely needs to come out when he brings a girlfriend home for the first time. :)
You may want to pull that pic.... too many creepies out on the net that would get their jollies. If one person copies it and emails it to someone, then it's out. Just a thought! I'm a very protective mom of two children myself and I've taught an internet safety course. I really enjoy reading your blog and seeing the pictures of your beautiful family. Your thoughts remind me of myself when my kids were the ages of yours. God Bless !
Thanks you "BlessedMomOfTwo". I guess I forget that people that don't know us can read our blog.
