How did I find out about Michael Jackson passing away? I was sitting in the emergency room with Mom (she has phnemonia) and my cell phone started buzzing like crazy. Apparently, all my girlfriends found out about him at the same time and decided to text me. I, of course, was oblivious because I had been sitting in an emergency stall with no contact to the outside world. A nurse was getting blood from Mom and I shouted, "Michael Jackson died?". I was shocked. I later spoke to Shanna and she said she was sad because he had such a strange life. He never really had a childhood. I just feel really weird about it. Its probably a lot like people felt when Elvis died.
I thought the least I could do was give Michael a shout out on the blog and try to remember a few memories that involved him...
1.) I was scared to death of the thriller video when it came out.
2.) I remember when I was in the sixth grade and he did the halftime show at the Superbowl.
3.) When he married Lisa Marie and they made that video where they were naked.

and this morning...

Neil was taking a shower and had the radio on. Mary and I were hanging out on the bed and we could hear the radio too. A Michael Jackson song came on and Mary stopped what she was doing and started bouncing up and down like she was dancing. She could definitely feel the beat!
